Students excel at ChristmasConcert

13/12/2012

The packed house at the Hervey Bay Special School Concert where thrilled with the range of entertainment on offer at the schools annual concert.

Following the Welcome to Country from Aunty Marie, the Indigenous dancers led by Paul Shillingsworth did their inaugural performance, followed by a blend of traditional aboriginal music and modern Christmas songs performed by the schools youngest students.  For 2 hours parents and friends of the school watched as; Christmas trees, reindeer, wonky donkey, 6 white boomers, angnam Santa's and others gave one great performance after another, we even had a flavour of an ussie BBQ and a very moving signing choir singing Imagine. Among many highlights it is worth mentioning the violin performances by Tamara's (our very talented volunteer) student's who confidently bowed Christmas carols.

Congratulations to our talented staff and students for such enthralling entertainment.
