Old MacDonald's Farm visits our school

Old MacDonald's Farm trailer
On Thursday July 19th we had a visit from Old McDonalds Farm This event is always exciting for the students in our school as they are given the opportunity to get up close and personal with an array of baby farm animals. It is a wonderful sensory experience as the students get to touch, hear and smell the farmyard animals in a safe setting. The baby animals also seem to enjoy the attention that the students give them as they brush, pat, cuddle and feed them. This year we were visited by lambs, kids, chicks, ducks, pigs and guinea pigs.  Here is what group 7 had to say about their experience:
Alexis:

The thing that I like the most was the guinea pigs. Their names were Miley & Princess. They eat carrots and grass and they pooh everywhere.
Teegan:
The thing that I like was the goats and pigs and  ducks. The  baby lamb was so cute.  I really  want a lamb of my own.  The guinea pigs  were little. There were two of them. Their names were Miley and Princess.

Connor:
I like the pigs. When I picked up the little piglet he squealed to get back down again.

We look forward to Old MacDonald's Farm visiting us again next year!
